Personal Space and Borders, Video 14.47 minutes, 2017

This work was made during the residency program at the Sidney Nolan Trust in The Rodd near Presteigne, England. I spent two weeks walking intensively in a rich natural environment which had more animals and insects than people. My process started with sensory ethnographic research and writing about the landscape of The Rodd. I investigated subjective experiences of walking and observe a process of how physical sense, spoken word, and communication with local people affects my understanding of the geography. I translated my sensory experiences and memories into writing and video making.
